മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ

പുരുഷാരം ജനമാകുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് 1980കളിൽ എം ജെ ജോസഫച്ചൻ പറഞ്ഞാണ് ഞാൻ ആദ്യം കേട്ടത്.ആ കാലഘട്ടം പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളുടേതായിരുന്നു. അതു കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ പുരുഷാരം ജനമായിത്തീരുന്നതു നേരിൽ കാണാൻ എനിയ്ക്കു സാധിച്ചു. കേരളത്തിൻ്റെ തീരപ്രദേശത്തെ അസംഘടിതരായ മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികൾ സംഘടിത രായപ്പോൾ അതു സംഭവിച്ചു. മദ്ധ്യപ്രദേശിലെ ദില്ലിരാജറയിലെ ആദിവാസി ഖനിത്തൊഴിലാളികൾ സംഘടിച്ചപ്പോഴും പിഥോറയിലെ അടിമത്തൊഴിലാളികൾ സ്വാതന്ത്യത്തിനായി ശബ്ദമുയർത്തിയപ്പോഴും നർമ്മദയിലെ ഡാം നിർമ്മാണത്തിനായി കുടിയൊഴിയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ട ആദിവാസികൾ മുറവിളിച്ചപ്പോഴും പുരുഷാരം ജനമാകുന്നു കണ്ടു.

ഗാതാപാറയെന്ന ഗ്രാമത്തിലായിരുന്നു അഡ്വ പി എ സൈറസ് ആരംഭിച്ച ആവാസ്  സംഘത്തിൻ്റെ ആസ്ഥാനം. അവിടെത്തന്നെയായിരുന്നു മഹാൻജൻ മസ്ദൂർ കിസാൻ സംഘ് എന്ന കർഷക പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിൻ്റെയും കേന്ദ്രം. ഞായറാഴ്ചകളിൽ അനവധി കർഷകർ യോഗത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ അവിടെയെത്തിയിരുന്നു. ഭൂപരിഷ്ക്കരണ നിയമത്തിൻ്റെ പിൻബലത്തോടെ സ്വന്തമാക്കിയ ഭൂമിയിൽ കൃഷി ചെയ്യാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചതിൻ്റെ പേരിൽ ഭൂവുടമകളുടെ അക്രമങ്ങളനുഭവിക്കേണ്ടിവന്ന കഥകളായിരുന്നു അവർക്ക് പറയാനുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. അവരുടെ ആവലാതികൾ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി അതിനെ നിയമപരമായി നേരിടാൻ അവരെ സജ്ജമാക്കുന്ന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും ജനമാകൽ ദർശിച്ചു.

മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ്റെ പാദപതനങ്ങൾ ഞാനവിടങ്ങളിലെല്ലാം കണ്ടു. കർഷകയോഗങ്ങളിൽ അവരുമായി ചർച്ചയിലേർപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന കോശി ഫിലിപ്പ് എന്ന ബെന്നിയിൽ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടു. (ബെന്നി ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഹൃദയാഘാതം മൂലം നിര്യാതനായി). ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഒരു വിളിപ്പാടു ദൂരെയുള്ള ഗ്രാമക്കിണറിൻ്റെ കരയിലിരുന്നു ഗ്രാമീണരോട് ആംഗ്യ ഭാഷയിലൂടെ സംസാരിയ്ക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചിരുന്ന സൈറസ് സാറിൽ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ്റെ ഛായ ഞാൻ കണ്ടു. ഭിലായിയിലെ അസംഘടിതരായ ഫാക്ടറിത്തൊഴിലാളികളെ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചതിനു ഫാക്ടറി ഉടമകളുടെ വാടകക്കൊലയാളികളുടെ വെടിയുണ്ടയേറ്റു മരിച്ച ശങ്കർ ഗുഹാ നിയോഗി മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ്റ തനിപ്പകർപ്പായിരുന്നു.

ഗന്നസരേത്ത് തടാകത്തിൻ്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ഊരുകളിൽ നിന്നും ഒരു വലിയ പുരുഷാരം മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ തേടിയെത്തിയിരുന്നു. തെരുവോരങ്ങളിലും അങ്ങാടികളിലും കടൽക്കരയിലും കുന്നിൻ ചെരുവുകിലും അവൻ അവരെ കാത്തു നിന്നു.ചോര വാർന്ന ആ ജീവിതങ്ങളെക്കണ്ട് മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ്റ ഉള്ളം വല്ലാതെ തപിച്ചിരുന്നു.പുരുഷാരം ജനമാകുന്നത് എല്ലാക്കാലത്തും അധികാര വർഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെ ഉറക്കം കെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു. അവർ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ ദേശദ്രോഹിയെന്നു മുദ്രകുത്തി കഴുവിലേറ്റി ഈ കൂട്ടായ്മകളെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കുന്നതിന് ഇന്നും ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണ്. ജനമായി തീരുന്ന പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ ബദൽ പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റായി ആഞ്ഞുവീശുന്ന ഇടങ്ങളിലേക്ക് 'മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ' നമ്മെ ക്ഷണിക്കുന്നു. അതിനോടുള്ള പ്രതികരണമാണ് ഇന്ന് പ്രസക്തമായ ക്രിസ്തീയ ശിഷ്യത്വം.

About The Lyricist

Santhosh George Joseph
Lyricist, music composer and music teacher. 

He has written composed around 300 songs both devotional and secular.
 
He has brought out music Albums Padamonnai, (Producer: Santhosh George) Poomazhayayi (Producer: Noble John) and Jeevadhara (Producer: Abraham Parangot). Many of his songs are published in the song books Padamonnai by Kristhava Sahithya Samithi and Janakeeya Ganangal by Dynamic Action.

Educational Qualification: MSc Communication Studies, Madurai Kamaraj University and MA English Literature, Kerala University .

Worked in Chattisgarh focusing on people’s theatre and organised a theatre group Lok Sanskritik Manch along with Shankar Mahanand. Worked as the Communication Secretary of Student Christian Movement of India, Bangalore, Programme Coordinator of the Thiruvalla Sanghom, Founder and Coordinator of Mediact, (Media Education for Awareness and Cultural Transformation) Thiruvananthapuram and Catalyst of kanthari International Institute of Social Entrepreneurs., Thiruvananthapuram. At present he is working as the director of Resonance School of Music, Thiruvananthapuram teaching western vocal music.

He is married to Suneela Jeyakumar who is working as an officer at Life Insurance Corporation of India, Thiruvananthapuram. He has three children Sangeeth, Ameya and Shreya.
